Recommended practices for weed control measures such as one hand weeding and two hoeing up to 30 DAS to kharif soybean resulted in producing maximum yield of soybean. Among the herbicide treatments, application of pre emergence herbicide i.e. pendimethalin @ 0.75 kg a.i. ha −1 followed by post-emergence herbicide i.e. imazethapyr @ 0.075 kg a.i. ha −1 at 15 days after sowing (DAS) has been recommended for controlling monocot and dicot weeds more effectively, resulting in maximum growth and yield of soybean.
