Abstract

Biochemical analysis of twelve cultivars of soybean released by MAU, Parbhani was undertaken with the help of SDS-PAGE. Polymorphism with respect to shattering and non-shattering trait was observed among the soybean cultivars.. The bands of molecular weight 97.4 kD and 18 kD were observed in non-shattering cultivars, while a unique band of molecular weight 43 kD was observed in non-shattering cultivar MAUS-71.
