Bioefficacy of Tolfenpyrad 15% EC Against Thrips (Scriothrips Dorsalis) Infesting Pomegrnate

A field experiment was conducted to study the efficacy of tolfenpyrad-15% EC against thrips (Scriothrips dorsalis) infesting pomegranate c.v. Bhagwa at AICRP on Arid Zone Fruit Research Project, MPKV, Rahuri during ambe bahar of 2011 and 2012. Application of tolfenpyrad 15% EC at 150 g a.i./ha showed significantly least survival of thrips on 5^th, 7^th and 10^th days after spray, resulting in least fruit damage. Furthermore, the treatment increased the yield of marketable fruits.
