The effect of micro nutrients on gladiolus was studied during rabi season of 2015–16 at Satpuda Botanic Garden, Horticulture section, College of Agriculture, Nagpur with nine treatment combinations in Factorial Randomized Block Design. The treatments comprised of foliar application of boron and manganese. Foliar application of 0.1% each of boron and manganese recorded early 50 per cent flowering and significantly highest number of spikes ha−1, longevity of spike and total flowering span in gladiolus. However, vegetative growth of the plant in respect of leaves plant−1 and quality of spikes in respect of length of rachis and diameter of spike were recorded significantly maximum when the plants were sprayed with a mixture of boron and manganese (0.1%each). The effect of boron and manganese on shoots plant−1 Was, however, non-significant.
