Application of Acephate 50% + lmidacloprid 1.8% SP @ 1000 and 1200 g/ha were most effective in controlling fruit borer (Helicoverpa armigera) Jassids and Whitefly populations as compared to the standard checks and untreated control. This was also found tobe safer to predatory Coccinellids and spiders. Maximum yield (71.62 q/ha) was recorded due to the application of Acephate 50% + lmidacloprid 1.8% SP @ 1200g/ha, followed by 69.12 q/ha due to the application @ 1OOO g/ha.
