Treatment with Paclobutrazol @ 90 ppm showed maximum reduction in plant height and internodal length of Pot mum (Chrysanthemum). Cycocel @1000 ppm reduced plant height, increase plant spread and number of flowers per plant, as well as prolonged senescence. Among the different growth retardants Cycocel @ 1000 ppm showed the desirable characteristics on growth and flowering of pot mum.
