Abstract

Application of farmyard manure and vermicompost in combination with brown manure (T12) resulted in to taller plants (107 cm−2), higher dry matter accumulation (1267 g m−2), more number of effective panicle (308 m−2) and higher grain yield (6.10 t ha−1), and was found to be at par with foliar application of zinc and iron. Foliar fertilization of iron and zinc was superior over their soil application.
