Effect of GA₃ and cycocel on flowering, yield and quality of chrysanthemum

Significantly minimum days to first flower bud initiation (30.65), days to open flowers (14.62), days to 50% flowering (47.27), days to first harvesting (51.27), maximum flowering span (51.94), flowers plant⁻¹ (128.4), flower yield plant⁻¹ (294.03 g), flower yield plot⁻¹ (3.53 kg), flower yield hectare⁻¹ (21.79 tones), weight of flower (2.29 g), diameter of flower (6.63 cm), disc diameter (2.41 cm) and shelf life of flower (4.10 days) were recorded with the application of GA₃ (300 ppm). Minimum values of flowering yield and quality parameters were recorded in untreated plants.
