Economic analysis of exporters and non-exporters of grape in western Maharashtra

An attempt was made to study the cropping pattern, resource use structure, cost and return structure, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) followed by the exporters along with the constraints. It was concluded that the exporters were using Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for good quality of product and maximum benefit. However adverse attitude of the people involved in the grape export, Irregular electric supply, pesticide residue analysis, EUREGAP certification, cold storage unit, were the major constraints for grape exporters.
