Abstract

Studies on the bio-efficacy of some insecticides and Verticillium lecanii against sucking pests of okra were undertaken at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, College of Agriculture, Dhule during Kharif 2015. The population of leafhoppers and aphids was minimum at 3, 7 and 14 days after spraying diafenthiuron 50% WP @ 300 g a.i./ha, which was found to be significantly superior over the rest of treatments. This was followed by the treatment with thiamethoxam 25% WG @ 280 g a.i./ha. the treatment with thiamethoxam 25% WG @ 280 g a.i./ha was significantly superior over rest of the treatments against whitefly.
