A field experiment was undertaken during Kharif 2015 at Post Graduate Research Farm, Agronomy Section, College of Agriculture, Dhule. The experiment consisted of eleven treatments laid out in randomized block design with three replications. The yield contributing characters like plant height, leaf area, number of monopodial and sympodial branches plant−1, boll weight (4.65 g), number of picked bolls plant−1 (38.34), seed cotton yield (25.19 q ha−1) were obtained under the treatment of sole Bt cotton (T1). Intercropping system cotton + dil in 1: 3 row ratio (T9) recorded significantly higher cotton equivalent yield.
