Abstract

Present study deals with the effect of boron on leaf area, leaf area ratio and relative water content in the leaves of sweet Sorghum c. v. RSSV-9. For this purpose different boron concentrations were used and its effect on Sorghum was measured 75 days after sowing. The leaf area ratio (LAR) increased with the increase in leaf relative water content(RWC) due to the treatment with 50 ppm boron. However further increase in the boron concentration reduced LAR and RWC in Sorghum.
