The field study on efficacy of newer insecticides for controlling sucking pests of chilli revealed that among the insecticides fipronil 5% SC @ 45 g a.i./ha was superior for controlling thrips, aphid and whitefly, while propargite 57%EC 850 g a.i./for mite population. Treatment with fipronil 5% SC @ 45 g a.i./ha recorded highest fruit yield (39.90q/ha).
