Abstract

Present study deals with the study of pollen diversity in 10 species of family Bignoniaceae. The plants were collected from Karimnagar district. Pollen grains of 8 species were tricolporate with diversity in the shape and ornamentation where as those of 2 species were tricolpate. These observations are of immense value in taxonomical, melissopalynological, aeropalynological studies.
