Present investigation deals with the efficacy of fungicidal seed treatment on seed germination and the prevalence of seed borne diseases in green gram. The results obtained revealed that per cent seed germination significantly increased while the incidences of Alternaria leaf spot, Anthracnose and Macrophomina leaf blight were significantly decreased due to dry seed treatment with either carbendazim + mancozeb, thiophanate methyl alone or carbendazim alone @ 2.5 g/kg seeds.
