The leaves of Dolichandrone falcata (Wall ex DC) Seem are used as an antioxidant, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, antiesterogenic and for antiolytic activities. The leaves are also used in the treatment of leucorrhea, body aches, abortion piles, diabetes etc. During present investigation attempts were made to standardize the species on the basis of dermatology and phytochemistryof leaf. Presence of various bioactive compounds in the leaves of D. falcata confirmed its application for various ailments.
