Abstract

The yield and physical attributes of the guava were studied under the influence of foliar application of different micronutrients. The yield parameters viz., number of fruits per square meter, number of fruits per tree, yield per tree (kg) and yield per hectare (t) were positively influenced due to different treatments. Maximum number of fruits per square meter (7.44), number of fruits per tree (170), yield per tree (35.57 kg) and yield per hectare (14.22 t) was recorded due to the treatment (T7) i.e. application of 1 percent Zinc sulphate. Maximum weight of fruit (193 g), length of fruit (5.24 cm), diameter of fruit (5.50 cm) and weight of pulp (153.60 g) was recorded with foliar application of CuSO4@ 1% + FeSO4@ 1% + ZnSO4@ 1% + Borax@ 0.5% (T11).
