Abstract

Foliar application of micronutrients showed positive response on quality attributes of guava fruits maximum value of TSS (11.80 Btix), reducing sugar (4.52%) and total sugar (7.40%) was observed due to the foliar application of Zinc sulphate @ 1%. Minimum acidity (0.35%) was observed due to the treatment with 1 percent Ferrous sulphate, while minimum physiological weight loss (3.10, 7.60, 8.00 13.14 respectively) was recorded on 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th days of storage, due to the treatment with Cuso4@1%+Feso4@1%+Znso4@1% + Borax @ 0.50%. This treatment recorded good keeping quality of fruits (7.10 days). Maximum physiological loss in weight and minimum keeping quality was observed in control treatment.
