Abstract

An experiment was conducted to observe the Impact of weather factors on the incidence of major insect pests on okra during Kharif season of 2016 at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, College of Agriculture, Dhule. Major activity period of leaf hopper (Amrasca biguttulabiguttula) was observed from 29th to 40th SWM with peak incidence in 40th SMW (18.3 leafhopper/3 th th leaves/plant) and aphid (Aphis gossypi) was observed from 29th to 40th SMW with peak incidence in 40th SMW (18.7 aphid/3 leaves/plant) respectively. Whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) appeared during 30th to 40th SMW with peak incidence in 37 SMW (15.6 whitefly/3 leaves/plant). Shoot and fruit borer (Earias vittella) was observed from 34th to 40th SMW with peak incidence in 40th SMW
