Impact of weather factors on incidence of major insect pests of okra (Abelmoschus esculantus l. moench)

An experiment was conducted to observe the Impact of weather factors on the incidence of major insect pests on okra during Kharif season of 2016 at the Department of Agricultural Entomology, College of Agriculture, Dhule. Major activity period of leaf hopper (Amrasca biguttulabiguttula) was observed from 29_th to 40_th SWM with peak incidence in 40_th SMW (18.3 leafhopper/3 th th leaves/plant) and aphid (Aphis gossypi) was observed from 29_th to 40_th SMW with peak incidence in 40^th SMW (18.7 aphid/3 leaves/plant) respectively. Whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) appeared during 30_th to 40_th SMW with peak incidence in 37 SMW (15.6 whitefly/3 leaves/plant).
