Morphological and anatomical studies of Cuphea ignea L. (Family Lythraceae)
Abstract
The anatomical features of leaf, node, petiole and epidermis of Cuphea ignea belonging to family Lythraceae were examined to study morpho-anatomical characters. Epicuticular portion of trichomes, crystals of calcium oxalate, diacytic stomata, anisocytic stomata and mucilaginous cells were observed.
