Attempts were made during present investigation to find out the distribution of dry matter (DM) and partitioning of assimilates in different parts of the wheat (cv. Gujrat-1593) plant during various stages of growth and development. It was observed that out of total dry matter accumulated in the plant, 34% got incorporated in grains.
