Abstract

The leaf spot of Zingiber is caused by Phyllosticta zingiberi. During present investigation synergistic effect of amino acids on growth of Pz-11 resistant isolate of this pathogen was studied. Glycine showed lowest growth of mycelium with poor sporulation, whereas Isoleucine showed highest growth and abundant sporulation.
