Abstract

The present paper deals with nine species of freshwater Hyphomycetes (submerged-aquatic fungi) collected from Ahmednagar district (M.S., India). Which were growing on samples of submerged woody debris These included Triadelphia diversa, T. inquinans, T. uniseptata, Trichocladium angelicum, T. englandense, Tridentaria tylota, Trinacrium subtile, Wiesneriomyces laurinus and Xylomyces elegans. Information on distribution of these fungi in India, description and illustrations have been provided in present communication.
