An experiment was conducted on five year old Custard apple orchard at Custard Apple Research Station, Ambejogai, during 2018–2019 to study the effect of chemicals on quality attributes of Custard apple (Annona squamosa L.) cv. Dharur-6. Among the treatments offered were Brassinosteroid (1 ppm) recorded maximum weights of fruit (201.72 g), peel (91.55 g), pulp (90.81 g) and volume (189.99 cc) with the application of. GA3 (50ppm). Application of GA3 also recorded maximum total soluble solids (23.32°Brix), reducing sugar (18.82%), non-reducing sugar (2.01%) and total sugar (20.67%). Minimum acidity was observed due to the treatment with CPPU (1 ppm).
