Fish diversity studies were undertaken during July-2015 to June-2016 to study varieties and abundance of fresh water fishes in Sindhfana River at Majalgaon, district Beed (M.S). The results revealed occurrence of 25 fish species belonging to 5 orders, 11 families and 20 genera. The order Cypriniforms was found dominant with 13 species, followed by Perciformes (6 species), Siluriformes (3 species), Synbranchiformes (2 species) and Beloniformes with 1 species.
