Leaf morphologicalabnormalities in m generation of Phaseolus vulgaris L. Due to chemical mutagenesis.

Healthy and well dried seeds of Phaseolus vulgaris L. were treated with various concentrations of EMS and SA. The treated seeds were sown to raise M1 generation. The plants of M₁ generation was screened for various leaf abnormalities induced due to the mutation. The frequency of plants carrying leaf abnormalities was calculated and expressed as percentage.
