Abstract

Antioxidant and haemolytic potential of Glycyrrhiza glabra was evaluated, for which methanolic, chloroform and hexane extracts were used. The results revealed that the extracts of Glycyrrhiza glabra had non-toxic effect against red blood cells, with considerable antioxidant property.
