Abstract

Nagad dam is located near the village Nagad, Taluka Kanand, District Aurangabad, Maharashtra State, India. It is located 77 Km away from Aurangabad, near Gautala wildlife sanctuary, providing good food and shelter to the birds. During present study attempts were made to record bird diversity during October to December 2019 at Nagad Dam and its nearby area. Total 77 species including water and land bird were recorded belonging to 29 families and 11 orders.
