Abstract

Freshwater bivalves Parreysia corrugata were treated with chelating agent; CaNa2 EDTA (40 mg/L) for 8 and 15 days and ascorbic acid content in different tissues was determined. There was significant decrease in ascorbic acid content in P. corrugata exposed to CaNa2 EDTA.
