Abstract

Present investigation was undertaken to study quality of groundwater from bore wells in the vicinity of Kham River, Aurangabad (M.S). Ten water samples were collected from different locations along the river bank and analysed for physico-chemical parameters, such as pH, EC, Total hardness (TH), calcium hardness, magnesium hardness, Alkalinity, Chlorides, Total solids (TS), Total dissolved solids (TDS), and phosphate. The values of these water quality parameters were found to be beyond the permissible limit given by ISI, and hence, corrective measures have been suggested to safely use these water sources.
