Abstract

Antagonistic activity of Trichoderma spp. was studied in vitro against Rhizoctonia bataticola causing root rot of Deccan hemp by dual culture technique. Among the three species of Trichoderma tested.. Trichoderma pseudokoningii and T. harzianum were found to be most effective against root rot, which inhibited growth of the pathogen by 78.88% and 76.66% respectively.
