Abstract

The present study was performed during November 2018 and May 2019, to analyze the length-weight relationship (LWR), condition factor (K) and gonadosomatic index (GSI) of female Mystus vittatus, an indigenous fish from Golaghat district in Assam, India. The results indicated positive allometric growth of the fish. Highest GSI and condition factor value was observed in the months of May and March respectively. GSI showed significant (p<0.01) positive relationship with total length, body weight and gonad weight.
