Wild plants collected for present study from the forests of Chopda, District Jalgaon, were Cassia tora (tarota) leaves, Ziziphus mauritiana (bor) fruits, Amaranthus spinosa (Kateri matla) leaves and Costus speciosus, (pewda) leaves. There nutrient status was then evaluated.
