Enkianthus deflexus (Griff.) C. K. Schneid. is represented by three varieties, of which var. deflexus and var. acuminatus S. Panda & Sanjappa occur in India. Microscopic studies of leaf anatomy and pollen morphology of these two varieties have been summarized and compared in present paper.
