Abstract

Odonates are predaceous insects belonging to the order Odonata. It has worldwide distribution with 5, 740 species, of which 470 species belonging to 139 genera and 19 families exist in India. During present study 16 species of odonates were recorded from Air Force Station, Lohegaon, Pune. Among them 10 species were from family Libellulidae, 3 from Coenagrionidae and one each from families gomphidae, Aeshnidae and Euphaeidae
