Synthesis of silver nanoparticles using a common weed Amaranthus viridis has been demonstrated. The synthesized particles were characterized using UV-Visible spectroscopy, EDAX, and DLS analysis. The energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy of synthesized nanoparticles demonstrated silver as a majorelement.
