Effect of Chlorpyrifos on Callosobruchus chinensis has been reported in present paper. Exposure of the insect to sub-lethal dose of Chlorpyrifos did not produce immediate mortality, and showed prolonged effects on some of its biological parameters. The oviposition, egg development, adult emergence and life span of adult females showed significant decline as compared to that in untreated insect.
