Screening of Trichoderma spp. against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. Cubense causing panama wilt of banana

Panama wilt of Banana is caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense in India. The disease management through chemical fungicides causes resistance in pathogen towards them, and in addition damage to non targeted organisms. Under this situation, application of bio-control agents is safe as well as cheap. Hence, present investigation was undertaken on in vitro biological control of Fusarium oxysporum f sp. cubense by using Trichoderma species.
