Abstract

Total 35 mutant isolates were obtained from wild Trichoderma pseudokoningii after exposure to UV rays at different time intervals. Among these mutants Tpuv-M showed highest per cent inhibition (74) of Rhizoctonia bataticola causing root rot of Deccan hemp as compared to wild T. pseudokoningii. Thus mutations can induce more antagonistic potential in T pseudokoningii.
