Effect of methanolic extract of Eulophia ochreata tubers was studied on anabolism, spermatogenesis, sperm count and serum profile of male albino rats. Administration of methanolic extract to albino rats showed pronounced anabolic and spermatogenic effect. The sperm count in testicular tissues, serum glucose and serum protein levels were found to be increased due to the treatment with plant extract. The extract had dose dependent influence on sperm count and glucose concentration. Restoration of sperm density and viability, after the treatment with plant extract was reported on the basis of histo-morphological studies of testes.
