Shelf life of chlorpyrifos (20EC) and cypermethrine (25EC)

Action of any pesticide is due to the active ingredients present in it. In recent years pesticides with longer shelf life are formulated and prepared, to enhance its efficiency and enable uniform application, convenient packing and improved safety. During present investigation the pesticides namely chlorpyrifos (20EC) and cypermethrin (25EC) were periodically tested for their active ingredients as well as physical and chemical parameters, for two years, i.e. up to the expiry period. It was pointed out that both formulations were stable and remained unaffected during storage.
