During the survey of fungal diversity at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Campus, Sagar a new species of Diatrypaceous fungus Eutypa myrtacearumvjas collected on dry twig of Callistemon lanceolatus (Sm.) Sweet, of family Myrtaceae. The proposed taxon has been recognized as new on the basis of morphological characters and its comparison with other closely related species.
