Abstract

The genus Iphigenia Kunth in India is represented by 6 species, of which five species are endemic to India. In Telangana, the genus is represented by 3 species and the fourth species i.e. I. magnifica Ansari & R.S. Rao has been reported in this communication as an addition to the flora of Telangana. Brief descriptions, key to the whole species, phenology, distribution and photographs are provided to facilitate identification.
