Pressed foliage of lucerne (Medicago sativa L.) was dried under different conditions. Natural sun drying of pressed foliage with 3.6% relative water content (RWC) was achieved in 72 hours, however, the dried material was devoid of pigments. Dried foliage with natural green color was obtained in shade drying after 66 hours with 8.2% RWC.
