Abstract

In-vitro callus induction in Rosa hybrida L. was investigated using nodal segment. The nodal segment were cultured on Vz MS medium fortified with various concentrations of IBA, ranging from 0.5 - 2.0 mg/1 and NAA ranging 25 -.75 mg/1. The medium containing 0.5 mg/l IBA and 0.5 mg/l"1 NAA was found to be the best medium for induction of callus.
