Abstract

During present study ethno-botanical survey was undertaken during the years 2020–2021 to record the medicinal plants, traditionally used by mising community of Dibrugarh, Assam in treating various diseases. A total of 64 plants, belonging to 40 families were found to be utilized for treating several diseases like jaundice, gastric, stomach related troubles, pox, dysentery, piles, tooth ache, respiratory, heart, eye, kidney and gynecological problems, fever, cold and cough, urine infections, parasitic infections etc.
