Fifty six anti-diabetic plants belonging to 46 families were recorded. These plants also showed other medicinal properties like anti-allergic, antibacterial, anti-cancer, anti-carcinogenic, anti-pyretic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, anti-microbial, anti-emetic, anti-catarrhal, anti-septic, anti-oxidantetc.
