Abstract

Channa aurantimaculata Musikasinthorn, 2000 is omnivores fish species endemic to Brahmaputra river, Assam, India. As the protease activity of gastrointestinal tract play primary role in digestion of food, present study was undertaken to study protease activities in wild and reared fish. There was significant (p < 0.05) difference between the protease activities.
