Momordica dioica is an important medicinal plant which may be used for the treatment of cancer, diabetes, different allergies and inflammation. During present study anticancer effects of Momordica dioica fruit and root was evaluated against human breast cancer (MCF-7) cell line using the MTT assay. The root extracts of Momordica dioica showed more than 50% inhibition of MCF-7 cell line, which were higher as compared to fruit extract andstandard drug.
