The methanolic extract of Butea monosperma was tested against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, and Psuedomonas aeruginosa using agar well diffusion method. The plant extract showed antimicrobial activity, wherein P. aeruginosa and E. coli were found to be highly sensitive to flower extract.
